Short of creating their own mobile phone line, I doubt they will be able to charge the kind of money they are now. Even in the mobile phone market, their margins will get pressure. They may eventually turn into a software/map making company that feeds the likes of RIM, AAPL, Palm, HP etc. and with the market thee phones look to expand to, that may not be such a bad thing.

That's the same reason why Apple has to make a phone because smartphones will engulf the functionality of the mp3 player, as well as gps device, and camera.
