It’s hard to know in all cases, but in some cases all it takes is an iHub search to pull up prior posts. The real problem, as PGS, noted, is that the sites you are reading are not known for having fresh material. It is probably best for you to assume that items you find on these sites are reruns unless you know otherwise.

In the case of the ribavirin story, you were bitten by an unfortunate feature of iHub’s Search function: by default, it finds matches from the current calendar year only. If you want to search for older matches, you have to specify the year explicitly.
