Somewhat of a repeat of a previous post, but still relevant.
There's a problem here that's a lot more serious than PRs. We've had lots of them. Many appeared to be OK, (some pretty sad)... but the more important thing is that they really meant nothing. With some very few exceptions, they were pure inventions: Syria deal (gone); India collaboration (never happened); Danziger (never happened); gasoline stations, motels, stores (never happened); Jordan (don't know, but I doubt it); Latvia terminal (gone); Yemen (probably gone too); deal with Arabian Advertising (broken); several IR firms (nada); NDOL (scam); new website (nope); audited financials (incomplete and late, unverified); myriad promised completion dates (all missed, most non-existent).
In an interview for one of the Russian publications, Malyshev admitted that "some" of his announcements were fabricated!
So why should we now believe these new PRs? On the basis of what? How do we know that a New York firm has actually been engaged to pursue NDOL and company? How do we know that they are actually exploring Saratov now? How can we possibly know that what is being reported now is any different than the interminable lies we've been subjected to before?
Fool me once... what assurance can I get that this is not just more of the same? You lie enough times and I will question EVERYTHING you say. Malyshev NEVER came clean on any of the above lies. Not one. It was all a house of mirrors. And until it is proved otherwise these PRs are just a bunch of lies too.
Someone has been mentioning Stratton Stevens as a Canadian stalwart who influenced many to buy (including me). Member of this or that Order of the Whatever, pallbearer at Trudeau's funeral, etc., etc. He said at one time that Malyshev and company are "good people". Wonder if he still thinks so, and what kind of story he will be telling next. Matter of fact, I wonder to what extent he has been part of the problem!
Give him a call! I'm sure you'll get enlightened!
