Reference to Karen Silkwood, nuclear industry whistle blower featured in a movie with Merryl Streep in the 80's(?). Tests revealed small amounts of ingested plutonium in her body and trace amounts in her home. She was killed in a car accident when she fell asleep and drove off the road. Autopsy revealed sedatives in her bloodstream. Conspiracy theorists suspect her employer did her in because she was creating whistleblower problems concerning plant safety practices.

Punky intimated that the Q did her in. I was just pointing out that in Silkwood's case it was the employer who was suspect. 3 Billion Euros ibecomes an even bigger scandal when it gets untidy.

strickly, regard VZ
cell phone is still good. it is more expensive by $10 a month.
broadband DSL is usually okay, but sometimes I have to get VZ to reset something because it is too slow.
I never like to deal with "Jane" or "Kevin" in Pakistan or India or Bangladesh over a phone line so crappy neither of us can hear, and they are reading from a script that they don't understand, but all the companies are all that way...
The combined bill (satellite TV, phone line & broadband) is good and costs less, at least until my contract runs out.
Overall I'm happy,
hope this helps,
