Airdale although I agree with your analysis,is there not another option re: the 7%? How about paying on profits from the trades? for example,the amount would be termed "net profit" after deducting brokerage fees. This would be quite different than paying on "net income" of the trading company.
Just a thought and surely open for debate.

Thanks for the lesson about revenue, I understand what it is. I get paid to know the difference.

I understand your point, being that this is a related party transaction. I was pointing out that normally, these types of payouts ARE based on revenue generated by the product, not net profits as is the case here. Of course, 7% of revenue would be much higher than 7% of net profit. I prefer higher payouts for SPZI, since this is where I'm invested. It's a bigger headache having to watch the management of two companies...I'd rather just watch SPZI get bigger.
