The Vodka deal was PR'ed to the PUBLIC on the PUBLIC newswire as a PUBLIC purchase.

You dont find it upsetting that this deal never happened?
I think the vodka purchase was weird to begin with, but at least it showed assetts under the PUBLIC umbrella.

Now we know this PUBLIC P.R. was a lie.

True, but it shows that they have no problem lying to us. If it truly was the private portion of this company that wanted to buy Danziger, why did they PR it in the first place? What good would it do? Why would any privately held institution PR an acquisition? For future funding purposes? This NEVER made sense to me.
