#29465 RE: alliecorp #29425

The TT exchange gateway that Spooz is making use of to route to various exchanges is something that Spooz would have to pay TT for, not the other way around. Thus, I don't think it's accurate to say that "TT signed up with Spooz". My understanding of SpoozToolz is that it IS dependent on Excel to run, as it is an Excel plugin. All of the demo footage shows things happening inside of Excel. Let me help you out, though, with some information:

"SpoozToolz uses Microsoft Excel® as the graphical user interface for its robust high speed client side middleware."

I've never seen or read anything to imply that SpoozToolz has an interface outside of Excel.

As far as jumping to conclusions, the sentiment of this board that Spooz will be rolling in revenues any time soon represents the largest jump. The financial projections are clearly unrealizable at this point in time. There is still no software in the market, and I strongly suspect that the Q3 financials will show very little deviation in revenues, wiping out any conclusions about the software having been rolled-out to professional derivatives traders. Another quarter with no revenue and lots of expenses. I would be extremely concerned about the company's ability to continue operation once they are out of cash. So, the 141 spin-off is needed for generating cash, since they'd be harshly criticized for issuing more SPZI shares. Like I said before, typically an investment company proves itself by establishing a track record of solid returns for clients before it tries to sell itself as a publicly-traded company. Investing in 141 would be putting your money into another start-up, presumably run by the same people who have failed to produce revenues in Spooz. I believe the phrase "robbing Peter to pay Paul" is applicable (as well as a bit ironic) in the case of Spooz.

Either way you look at it, Spooz has generated practically no revenue from their primary objective, yet they seem to have spent plenty of time and money launching this side-venture. I don't think I have to tell you, but you should know that Spooz shareholders were footing the bill. If 141 Capital fails to generate revenues, it will be interesting to see what direction Spooz goes in order to stay afloat.
