Waterboy, Grow up!! Linda tries to help everyone. That includes the kool aid drinkers with blinders on.
Linda and I don't agree on many aspects of Treasure Salvage, but unlike others, we don't hate each other. We both know that different opinions make the world go round.
She still believes in the dream of adventure and wants to see DPBM succeed. I want Tom to succeed because I believe he has a real treasure wreck. Tom isn't hyping a non-existant treasure wreck.
The problem that Tom has is that the resources aren't being spent to confirm Tom's wreck.
I have the upmost respect for Jim Cross. He is a real professional.
Even though I don't think the J.W. Fisher Yellow fin is a first rate side scan, I think that Jim will make it do the job of locating the wreck. The side scan won't show treasure. It will only pin point the wreck.
A good ROV with camera should also be used on the wreck. A J.W. Fisher drop camera is just that, a drop camera. It can't be moved around the wreck on a joy stick to take a complete set of photographs and show everything. It can only be dropped over the side of a boat. It won't show nearly as much as an ROV. However, it is better then nothing.
In my opinion you can count on Jim Cross being the consumate expert and Wreck Tom having a treasure wreck. Within a week they should have the proof. What happens after that is anyones guess.
