Fletch, what can i say? It is always going to work better to buy at 6 sell at 8 buy back at 7, sell at 9, etc. the problem is that no one can do it consistently although a lot of folks lie about it.
the idea is to pick a bunch of winners and hang on. I don't think its going to work very well to time this, but if you think you can do it, try it

edit: but YES if you are going to try to time it PLEASE sell strong rallies, not dips....
position yourself to be able to buy dips, and not have forced sales
