This patent is the basic one of the technology: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPT... It was accepted on 2006 (after 3 years which quite fast). There must be follow on patent(s) but I presume submission was not so long ago, so we can't see it yet at the USPTO. I will inquire via a fellow DVM who knows the guys in Penn School of Veterinary but it might be quicker to call GTCG (it is Yom Kipur in our parts). Anyway I am certain as stated before that GTCB acquired the technology from university of Pennsylvania.
