Please help me with my math:

When working with percentages, how do you do the math so that you arrive at a whole number?

That is, if I have a 5,000% gain, what do I multiply together to arrive at my final amount?

So we are sitting here at .0003.

Show me the math that gives that figure a 5,000% gain.
