Fed drains 7B, after pumping 13.75B yesterday. Effective rate back down to 5.0%, was over 5.2% yesterday.

We just need to weather a little more rough weather here post Fed meeting

Does that statement indicate you expect the Fed to hold firm and not cut rates, or am I reading too much into it? I, personally, am hoping Bernanke has the guts to stand his ground and as he has stated already, not use the Fed as an instrument for bailing out speculators and miscreants.
