PDGT NEWS - AL State DOC Specifies FriskerPRO(R) in Contract Bid/Award - Business Wire

AL State DOC Specifies FriskerPRO(R) in Contract Bid/Award
Paradigm Tactical Products Inc.(Other OTC:PDGT.PK - News), a leading provider of non-lethal defense and homeland security solutions to corrections, law enforcement and the security industry, announces that one of it’s key dealers has been awarded a statewide contract from the Alabama State Department of Corrections.

According to James F. Marr, Acting President, CEO & Chairman of the Board, the AL DOC contract proposal document specified bid requests for the US Patented FriskerPRO® Hand Worn Metal Detector or equivalent only. Anchortex Corp. of West Berlin, NJ (WWW.Anchortex.Com) was awarded the contract to provide 325 FriskerPRO®’s to the AL State DOC, to be used throughout the AL DOC’s facilities.

“For the FriskerPRO® to be specifically requested by brand name in any correctional departments’ contract bid of this size, is an extremely significant break through for our business model. This sole source award is indicative of the tremendous progress we’ve made in the corrections field. I would also consider the decision to purchase of 325 FriskerPRO®’s by the AL DOC as a very positive reflection on that agencies decision-makers, training units & risk managers who may have appreciated, recognized & understood the uniqueness, the effectiveness & the high level of officer safety the FriskerPRO® provides for their personnel” states Marr.

Marr continues stating “ the ease of use, & the innovate design of the FriskerPRO® ultimately differentiates ourselves from the rest of the metal detector manufacturers in a rather significant way. All our corrections customers realize that we are the only company that can provide their personnel with a searching enhancement tool that operates safely & without worry of injury or death to the officer within a sterile corrections environment. However, that is not the case with other available metal detectors currently being used in corrections which could be used as weapons against the officer to injure or kill that officer. This is & has been a real concern of correctional officers who use these other detectors.”

Cleveland Police have been using the Eazysearch/FriskerPro metal detector for the last seven months within the custody suite environment. The officers and staff have found the equipment easy and comfortable to use and we feel as a tool it is of great help in securing evidence, ensuring the safety of staff and detained persons. I intend to expand its use within the Custody Environment and present it to the Force to consider using in the patrol environment"- Chief Superintendent Graham Cummings of Cleveland Police in England
