I absolutely agree with every single word you wrote in your previous posting ... I don't think we're interpreting anything different at all ... what specific part do you "disagree" with ?? I didn't mean to imply that all you have to do is say a prayer and you're in like Flynn ... not at all.
Like I said, the Spirit comes into you after you have asked for Him ... the public display of your Baptism comes next. BUT, just like a prayer alone does not save you ... neither does a baptism. IMHO, it is the true relationship that one has with Him that leads to all of these things.
