hey mello !! . . . . ...
hope all is well with you ...
thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for the kind words ...
nope, you won't ever see me backing away.
Hey! ... I doubt we're that different, if at all.
I used to think the same thing about "being born again" ...
until it happened to me!
I thought I was "with God" and going to Heaven ...
but I wasn't really living like it nor did I have a personal relationship with Jesus. We all were "born" into this world ...
but being "born again" into a "new life" with Jesus is what makes all the difference !!
We all need a new life. We need to be cleansed from sin and it's penalty (which is death) and restored to a fellowship with God who made us all. That is what Jesus Christ (God's Son) meant when He said we "must be born again" (John 3:7). "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Without the experience of the "new birth" we have no hope of enjoying the glories of Heaven nor escaping the terrors of hell.
Once I accepted Jesus as Lord of my life and I now have a personal relationship with Him, NOW I know what it is like to be "born again" !!
It's hard to explain, one just has to experience it.
I'm still the same person ... but different.
It's nothing specific you have to go out and do to be born again ...
we both agree with John 3:16 ...
once you truly do ask Jesus into your heart and life and truly believe John 3:16, the rest will happen on its own ...
the Holy Spirit will enter and guide you ...
you will be born again!
Thanks! my friend ...
do take care.
