Companies in the news - On Monday we had another great release by H-Quotient, Inc., (HQNT). The company finalized a contract that will add more than $1.4 million to 1st Quarter revenue because it expects to complete its delivery obligations by March 31, 2004.
President and CEO Douglas Cohn said, "This contract provides near-term revenue, which meshes with our overall business plan that combines short and long-term contracts to establish a substantial pipeline. To reach this point, we first established a strong financial, near debt-free base that has enabled us to provide long-term customer-friendly terms. Such terms have placed us in a particularly competitive market position that bodes well for the rapid expansion of the business."
And on Friday H-Quotient announced another contract possibly worth $900,000. This contract includes the sale and licensing of software. Initial revenue is expected to be $250,000 and royalty revenue is expected to be in the range of $400,000 to $700,000.
President and CEO Douglas Cohn said, "This is another in a series of anticipated contract announcements."
