People need to stop tethering their feelings to their thoughts. The two should remain as separate as possible.
I've heard time and again how "nice" Malcolm is. I don't care. He can run a pit-bull fight on Friday nights, or he can give religiously to the homeless in his city, and neither will make a difference to my investment because I didn't invest in HIM. I invested in CYGX, and its CEO failed to perform in a manner befitting the resposibility of his post, causing a massive slide in share value.
That's all.
How that hurts somebody's feelings or causes them to attack me is a sad commentary on our culture.
Bring your opinions, folks, but leave your feelings at home. They're not helping you make wise investments - ever.
