My milky & fuzzy memory about electric circuits has not
enough juice, that if shorted,it would not blow a micro fuse :o)

Lets see,
resistors are like clogged pipes,
capacitors are shaped like outer space flying saucers
that act like a rechargeable flashlight battery,
and inductors are like someone that gets all excited with change,
and like BobZ, resists reversing direction.
Someplace is an non-existance, but useful, -1 or -i, i forget.
voltage & current at the same place and time...
... but not, something about a phase
... sounds female'ish
that same "its not where you think it might be,
like that gyroscope spinning and you push that way
and wacko'ness its 90 degree gone the other way.

...inductors regulate current.
capacitors regulate voltage
but but but
coils next to coils are transformers
capacitors fill up with current and increase the voltage yes,
but regulate to me means to keep regulator...
... like eat fiber to be everyday at the same time
or eat fiber to be a regulator generator fart'mobile
or o gosh, all i need is a simple circuit of a voltage regulator,
which is not a transformer,
but it may be a motor,
but for sure on a motor, as in used by motors.
On the other hand,
gotmilk's inductor is just doug in-a-duck-turd-r
