re Condi and the Iraq 'elections' -- I'd have to take that with a huge grain of salt, as utter self-serving spin (and as if al-Maliki wasn't on the 'acceptable' list every bit as much as Allawi, who if I recall correctly had no prospect of winning the election that went to al-Maliki even if we did 'interfere') -- she certainly didn't give a shit about Rove's/dubya's/the Republicans' undermining democracy by interfering in the 2000 and 2002 and 2004 and 2006 elections right here -- . . .
