I looked at the log as soon as I saw you rebooted. Helpful to identify code errors, but not for the critical issue. :-(

Are you able to compare the current Global.asa to the pre-move version? I don't know what the file looks like, so a comparison may not mean anything.

Way over my head, and grasping at straws....

Oh, did you clear the Application Event Log earlier this morning?

Bob,

If you can stand a comment from a know-nothing bystander, an item in the current issue of eWeek reported that Dell acknowledged a problem in their servers which caused the server to shut down when a component overheated. They claimed that the problem was corrected.

Don't I recall you buying a Dell server? Is there any possibility that it has a weak, heat-sensitive component? Those dudes can be HARD to find ... but it might account for the flakiness we're seeing.
