I haven't used MedVed QT in a long time, but to display indices across the top, I think you just right click in the quote row, choose "edit indices", check the ones you want to see, click "OK" and you should be good to go.

Oh, see you were asking about in IB. Don't know how you do it in IB, or if you have to specially subscribe to get the index quotes. Call and ask: 1-877-442-2757. I'd like to know, too, so let me know what you find out. Tnx.

OT, Go to Options, Data Sources, Indices and check what you want. You have to provide the name of the data feed source as well or you can add them just like a stock as well, but you have to know the name of the ticker... ^ndx.x, ^compx, ^indu... You may have to go to main QT page and see if they list the Index tickers for your data feed.... Hope this helps..

Don't forget to enable Bloomberg as the Indices data source.

Hi Merced, if you are using TWS, try INDU and COMP. If you are in quotetracker, try NYSE:$INDU and NASDAQ:$COMP.
