I was merely responding to one of your comments.

Political parties advance their own interest at the expense of the public interest. They put self-interest above all other considerations.

My comment is based more on their destructive behavior rather than their facial features. Please forgive my acerbity.

At present, only the rich and well integrated run for office. A good ole boy network if you will. The system is rigged to only serve the elite. This must change but the system wont allow it. The common man is left in the cold.

Mandatory term limits would purge the system of parasitical, career politicians once they get into office.

Tear down the money wall (highly unlikely) and impose term limits as a start.
