#21680 RE: pengy #21677

I was private IM'd by another investor who has been in contact with the Portland Business Journal writer, who has aleady written a pair of articles on NVI. I am told that there are multiple articles in the can and more on the way. Sounds like we might see one or two articles on NVI yet this week. I can't imagine whatever is printed next is going to be flattering to NVI and their management team. As a major investor and holder of way-too-many shares I am braced for the worst, and hoping for the best.

Again, NVI cannot afford to clam up now (remain clammed up I should say). It's time to fight and be on the offense, proactively sharing with shareholders. I'm not asking to risk anything with the technology, assuming there is something to risk. I am advocating a strong and proactive campaign to remove the very dark cloud of doubt that hands over NVI as a company and investment as a result of lack of information and numerous missed milestones.

I doubt image consultants would advice NVI to just sit and "take the heat" in their position. I also doubt that they are in a position to claim to take the "high road" by not responding or making a preemptive strike with information that could distract shareholders in a positive way from rehashing the past in the local paper.

Something tells me all of this will fall on deaf ears and the pending articles from the Portland paper will not be positive for NVI.

Pengy,
Just going off an earlier post, about the name change and move happening in or around April? I'm not sure if that is a correct date, but have no reason to doubt it. Last I heard offices were not complete yet, so it sounds like a reasonable time to me.

Pengy

Just out of curiosity, where in the heck did this "April date" come from?

In my opinion, I was taking the information from the Portland Business Journal that NVEI would move to Portland by the end of first quarter (end of march).

I was responding to a question from:

IMO NVEI has a ton of news to release, and they are holding back until the name change and relocation is completed. Why waste the news on a symbol we will no longer be using? Nobody will be able to research the news unless it is released under the new RIM Semiconducter symbol.

Hope I'm right.

If the assumption from iamshazzam is correct that no meaningful press release will be made until after the name change and relocation is correct, no significant news will occur til April.

Based on Austins post #21708 with him sharing his conversation with Brad Ketch and stating that "It sounds like the FPGA is going to happen, but he made no bones about it, it will probably be a while." it further supports my statement. Its just my opinion.
