Upndown, if you are correct, then Stoll has certainly given the BP's an opportunity to buy in at a much cheaper price.

upndown1313 - could you explain what you mean?... I don't get how a PIPE could be a vehicle for a BP to take equity in COR.

I have not seen a deal where Big pharma takes the secondary shares. They usually annouce a partnership and the stake simultaneously.

The PR says: “Cortex Pharmaceuticals…has obtained commitments from several institutional investors to purchase shares of its common stock and warrants…”

A development partner would not be described as an “institutional investor.”
