<...obviously wrong predictions and expectations>

You are correct. However, the extreme reaction of the markets reflect that some substantial assumptions and confidence in the management have been breeched. The reaction indicates that the market has at minimum been jolted and perceives a higher level of risk. Clearly, the risk level is raised because the timing of the PIPE negates the optimism of the expected near term events -- something is wrong.

The perception of a bright futute for CX717 began with Stoll's optimistic declaration of the artifact effect and there has been nothing from Cortex to quell those statements .. infact, the setting of the stage for big news by announcing a pending conference call enhanced anticipation.

The net effect is a jolt to the market for COR resulting in an extreme reaction and... unfortunately, a credibility and perhaps worse, a trust issue for Stoll. The market and the shareholders feel deceived. Who knows what the issue(s) is (are)?

Perhaps it will all come out in the much anticipated conference call..

BTW, congratulations DEW.

Aiming-

I cannot find the comment on "financing
through '08". However, I do recall a
comment about how much cash was on hand
and the burn rate and that too added up
to making it 'through' '08.

Many have used words like "betrayed" and I
feel they too are justified. How many times
did I say this smelled fishy, and I was dead
balls accurate. For this stock not to move higher
and stay higher after FDA "lifted"(sic) the hold,
pretty much made it clear. Someone other than
us(or maybe some among us-who knows?)knew that
there was something evil afoot for ole COR.

Again. "lie", "betrayal", "fishy", whatever, it is a
fact that if this refi, dilution, second, PIPE, or whatever
ya wanna call it does not get us through until we get
some product credibility, COR and us are dead meat.

And now Aiming, not trusting COR any further than I can throw
UCI, I want to thank you for giving us this forum while
I still have the chance. Life expectancy for COR, sans any
truthful good news, is about 18 months.

My gut feeling, this dog just don't hunt. I will stay,
but I do not like my odds.

Have a great day-DT
