you don't understand. Satelittes weren't around prior to the 70's. So you are now making asumtions on climate of the earth based on what data that has been available in the last 40 years? I was in the Navy for six years and served on several destroyers based in the Pacific. We took a bathothermogragh reading every four hours everytime we were underway and no matter where we were. As did all the other crusers and any war ship with sonar. The longitude and latitude was recorded and logged. I suspect much more accurate data than what the British Navy had. I don't recall measuring CO2 though. how do you do that anyway?
