Lowman, I have read numerous comments for and against all these shorting practices and the one comment I have yet to see includes terrorists. If a group of wealthy offshore investors want to bring the US economy to its Knees ,all they have to do is set up a hedge fund and short the crap out of ever decent stock in the US . These guys could well support the same terrorists your government go after day after day.How easy would it be to subvert the US economy with all these loopholes around shorting. They could blend in with all the other slime balls selling naked shorts and nobody would know. They are probably out there already sucking the life blood out of america
