Yes, it will be interesting to see someone test drive it outside the lab.
I might add I would expect issues for WoW-32 for the very same reasons; although less and easier to kink out, because the complexity-level is way lower here.
But this is only a software emulation, running software design for one API under another API. Hardware can execute the instructions natively. If MSFT cared enough, they could write Wow 64/16 in addition to Wow 64/32.
