Well, Mystery, as I understand it your reason for not wanting to hire a lawyer has nothing to do with preventing a lawyer from lining his pockets. Instead, you are a true believer in ACMG who wants to wait things out. I am not being critical of your views, just pointing out why my question is not really directed to you. My question is for the people who want to hire a lawyer. I am trying to figure out what the lawyer's assignment will be. Will it be open ended or will there be discrete tasks to be accomplished?

I think their intent here is to use an attorney to get some information about what is going on, apparently no one else can ... seems reasonable to me.

There is no evidence Siam exists ... apparently whoever is running ACMG has lined their pockets with someone else's cash already and at least an attorney would provide some direction.

Not sure if they looking for a Canadian attorney, might be the best way to go ... one could probably get a subpoena for 'Madame Kenny' and everyone can stop playing these silly games.

Better than lining a dishonest company or Cavasin's pockets anymore. Split the greed sort of speak between the attorney and...
