Vex...I'm not stupid, nor did I miss the point, but I think you might have.

It is their intent to ingrain the picture in peoples mind. In other words, the subliminal message was not lost on me.

Since when do conservatives care about children? In the early 1900's conservatives didn't even want child labor laws enacted because it might hurt business. The have resisted almost all attempts to help the poor and downtrodden because it might cost them money. They only time I really see conservatives ecstatic is when we use our weapons on others and if children get killed conservatives say -so what!
