Good find. Levitt has indeed mentioned a pending patent (or patents) in this area in all of his recent presentations and interviews.
Here’s something that caught my eye but probably signifies nothing of consequence:
"…therapeutic application of compounds in controlling mucin over-production associated with diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) including asthma and chronic bronchitis, inflammatory lung diseases, cystic fibrosis and acute or chronic respiratory infectious diseases."
The use of the term “COPD” in the patent language refers to a superset of asthma, but COPD is more commonly used to denote a specific respiratory disease that is considered distinct from asthma.
