Hey its your money, and it sounds like you have it well covered. I suppose I would keep some Intel stock just for nostalgia value if I had made your kind of fortune on it, but I wouldn't kid myself too much about it being a good investment anymore. I guess if you have waded through the last 5 years, you should at least hold it through this up cycle. I think they have at least one more good run in them.

When I unloaded me EMC shares they had added over six figures to my assets. So I sort of understand how semi feels. Today I have 95 shares of EMC. Did well with them, one usually does when one invests in a NEW succesfull company after 10 -15 years. In any event I did much better over the past year or so with AMD. The puny company gave very good puny returns. I did well with EMC, however we are no longer married.

As the old saying goes.
Then was then, now is now!!!
