corporations have a great deal in common with organized crime .. and Yes , you are right ... Jimmy Hoffa, a fine man that he was .. had to enlist the mafia or whatever gang it was to be able to keep 'pinkerton's' from beating & killing the guys on the line ... they had the money to hire 'pinkerton's' ... the guys had nothing ... except , Jimmy Hoffa ...

corporations shake down the government & the politicians - corporations take our jobs overseas ... import cheap labor to take jobs away from our guys /gals .. .. anything .. they will do anything to 'break America's back' for their profit/pocket ...

Its probably safe to say that if unions hadn't formed after the the depression, you'd be hiring without thinking about all that "competative" salary 'crapola'.

Its expected now because of those years. I never worked for a union either, but they played an important role in the development of our middle class, because there wasn't one before.

Wait a bit longer and the bottom will finish falling out of it, and all will be just fine.
