Re: Stanley Druckenmiller:

I did a people search on Druckenmiller on Edgar Online (a premium service for which I subscribe), and this brought up a huge number of entries. Here is a small subset of the companies in which Druckenmiller has invested, either directly or through a partnership:

TUNE.PK, ABTXQ.PK, BUSSP.PK, Inland Steel (bankrupt), ITWR.PK, LTXX, LU, MDR, TTP, URMD.PK, VLGC, SIL, ARLC, BFLY, JOSB, CLCR.PK, CNU, COR, REG, DCLK.

As you can see, Druckenmiller has an affinity for speculative companies, including many which trade on the “pink sheets” over-the-counter market.

Of the companies listed above, the only one I have owned is TTP, which turned out to be one of the worst investments I have ever made. Ironically (in view of my OXGN sale today), TTP’s lead drug, Iloperidone, had been touted as a potential blockbuster for schizophrenia when it was unceremoniously dumped by TTP’s partner, Novartis, in 2002 due to QTc-prolongation! FWIW. Dew
