I think we may be looking at markedly different time frames for our trades.

Yes, past Original buy signals have been in some very grim times, like as is now.

Aug 1998 asian contagion, and several buys during the nasdaq bear.

Also one triggered night of 911, not able to execute until mkts reopened.

The news at the time of these original buy signals usually makes you want to turn away.

And they have drawdowns that are not for the faint of heart.
