I did not see the dow going over 10600 either, maybe the computer that generated these excursions simply took the high of all the Dow stocks during the day as the Dow high (they did not make their high each a the same time). This is not the way it is supposed to be calculated, but sometimes, when their is a glitch and they drop some data during the day, they go back and recalculate from each stock. Note that the low is also some 40 points under the low (10542) actually reached during the day, indicating that my guess might be correct.
