Sally, thanks for your closing comment. There is no reason for our opinions to disintegrate into character assassinations of each other.
That being said, I think I can speak for many here in saying that it doesn't much matter what this company has done since November 16, 2006, or what they might do in the future, as long as justice is had against those who perpetrated fraud and/or securities violations which put us into the position we found ourselves in that day, and if those were company principals (which I, in concurrence with the OSC, believe they were, except for DeVries, whom I'm not sure was ever an official company employee), they should not be allowed to participate in management of any public company ever again; they should be financially punished, i.e. disgorgement and hefty fines; and depending upon the severity of the OSC findings, possibly even imprisoned. And lastly, I feel that the corporation itself should be financially sanctioned for its vicarious liability due to the acts and omissions of those who perpetrated any such fraud or securities violations. I have said many times, long before you ever joined this board, that I don't care if the company continues and does well. I still mean that. But they need to be forthcoming about what is happening within the corporation and stop keeping its shareholders and the investing public, which has so many questions about this company, in the dark. It's unacceptable and irresponsible behavior, especially given the company's questionable history. What should they care if they get ripped apart if they are telling the truth? It doesn't make any sense. Nothing good is coming from their silence. Nothing. Shareholders should be clamoring for answers, for Pete's sake, through whatever means necessary, rather than just making excuses for the company's silence and continuing to say to its detractors, "You'll see, you'll see, you'll be sorry."
