As a born skeptic, and one pretty familiar with the industry, I did not find PC's line of questioning belittling at all. Perhaps I am not so skilled in the art of recognizing evil-doers.

As far as top notch scientists... sure GTCB has a few, but they are not limited to little companies, so you can bet the larger biotechs and pharmas have their share of smart guys too. That was my point a while back when I mentioned the ever closing gap between transgenic expression level and newer CHO cell line costs.
