Mel - I would suggest you refrain from trading in the pennies if you truly believe that one. Anyone who trades pennies has seen Market Makers control the spread, bid and ask without question. They can and will set up a crossed or locked market if it is to their advantage to do it. They will frequently run a huge spread to shake out shares.
