Most US factories are now shell operations, an office space with computers, where sales orders are entered, then the computer orders the parts from offshore sweatshops, the parts come in and/or are dropped shipped to US retail outlets (WMT) where consumers who buy more than they need and go deeply into debt pick them up using Mastercard or a Refi. This is known as globalism and Greenspan and crew think its a great system.
