I think he'll be even more surprised how much the volatility premium drops tomorrow on those SNDK calls.

I've had at the money SNDK option positions that have dropped in half the day after earnings when the stock did not move, and I've had at the money stuff that were well in the money the day after earnings that moved only marginally.

The volatility premium that's going away at the open tomorrow on SNDK makes it likely those calls are not going to be worth nearly as much tomorrow as they would have been at the current after hours trading price of SNDK with today's volatility premiums.
