Well, I for one, hope he is read his Miranda rights. He should not be interrogated until he has been appointed an attorney and has been counseled by Amnesty International. Whether or not he has critical intelligence that may save lives is not as important as safeguarding his individual rights. We must presume he is innocent until proven guilty. How do you know he is even in Al Qaeda, let alone the leader. After all, our government lies.
We need a sunset law. In the future, when any American president, regardless of party affiliation, commits us to any act of war, we shall withdraw our combat troops from all theaters at the end of a term no later than four years from incessation.
War is horrific, and it is never the best alternative. Therefore, we should allow the U.N. to be sole arbiter of all international disagreements. Thus, we need no military forces, whatsoever. The resulting savings should make solvent our social security and medicare obligations for decades to come.
