Now there is something we can agree on. In 2004 we elected George W. Bush, the most corrupt, traitorous, and incapable president in our nation's history, to a second term.

And 26% of the country remains in lock step with the fear mongering criminals of the far right and GOP.

Hopefully we will remove these so called 'Conservatives' from power permanently, and place the guilty traitors of the Republican party in jail for the rest of their miserable lives.

We should start with war crime trials for Cheney and Rumsfeld. We can hang them with the same rope we used for Saddam. Criminals to the end.

Obviously students including GWB payed no attention to the lessons of history and were destined to repeat those failures. He did and continues to do so.

I am no expert on education systems, beyond teaching your children at an early age how to learn for themselves. Making them read books so they are not dependent on being spoon fed some crap in school that does not mean anything. So I blame the parents, not the schools. Kids come in to school in overcrowded conditions and are undisciplined, so teachers spend a large portion of the time keeping them in check.

If you would be so kind as to point out the countries with excellent education systems that are not government controlled I might consider moving to them. LOL

As for journalists, they come in all shapes and sizes. When ever things don't go well for one side or the other people blame the journalists. Scooter got off free of any jail time but Judy Miller the Times reporter did jail time. That seems a bit odd, don't you think?

OTC: Not hoping for a Hillary presidency......as it stands, that's what will happen. I agree that living off the gov is detrimental to a society, but to give predatory Capitalism free reign is just as bad if not worse. Good gov requires a living minimum wage, affordable health care and no billionaires! No one should have enough money to affect gov policy. Money is wasted on the super rich, imo.
