Wow, good to know they will have herbs next year. Janie use to have some interesting perennials so I wasn't too happy when she stopped growing them. Been liking the herbs from Gilberties in Conn. Have a nice description of how they were used in the past as well as present day and a large variety of all kinds of herbs. I've been combining herbs with perennials in some garden designs I've been doing lately. Right now we're implementing a Colonial Williamsburg type garden I designed but am having a difficult time convincing them to incorporate some herbs. A great border plant is the 'Spicey Globe' Basil, looks like a Dwarf English Boxwood with really tiny leaves.
