Well some American soldiers have been captured. All were tortured and then killed. I'm quite certain that the Democrats were just as vocal about these outrages as they were about Abu Ghraib, though I can't find the links.
Has anyone inquired as to the welfare of the American P.O.W.S., surely with such a strong insurgency, there must be at least a few, no?
For the anti-war crowd, does it make any difference, who is killed in Iraq or the nationality of the killer? Apparently not. Thus to get us out, all you have to do is send some suicide bombers into Iraq and target any poor person unlucky enough to cross your path. The Dems immediately wail that the violence is Bush's fault and we need to get out. So there is a symbiotic relationship between the Dems and Al Qaeda. The more violence, no matter how depraved or unjust, the better the case for the Dems.
