George Bush is no conservative. You might want to consult a dictionary as to the meaning of that word. I think budding fascist would better describe him.
Ron Paul understands the value of being truthful. He values our Constitution. America, the land of the free? Not any more. Have you not noticed that a lot of our constitutional rights have been abolished - over two hundred years of our history deleted with the stroke of an idiot liar's pen?
Our national actions under GW Bush have been very barbaric. Shameful. Have you seen any pictures of the wounded Iraqi children? Yes, the world has a problem with Muslim fanatics. But, the world has a bigger problem with mighty American fanatics who are willing to kill for oil and leave a legacy of depleted uranium as a lasting reminder of our presence. You who are so against abortion, have you seen any pictures of the horribly deformed offspring of some of our returning military personnel? Do you really see the value of a human life, or do you just espouse the brain-washed, far right mantra which Bob Dylan described as being "guided by the light of God and truth and right?"
I do not agree with every position that Ron Paul espouses. But, I think the most important consideration for our country is that the very document on which everything we represent as a people had been based be made whole once more. After that has been accomplished, then we can take a hard look at some of the problems and inequities in our own country and set about fixing them.
It is difficult for me to understand your bombs and burkas and barbarians as being associated with a mild mannered little constitutionalist like Ron Paul, whose biggest failing seems to be telling the truth. I have never personally known an American like you. God help us if your ilk is the majority in our country, for America will no longer be a fit place to live. Would you mind telling the board what service you have rendered to our country? I picture you as one of our local rednecks - a smart one, but a ne'er do well who is turned on by vicarious maschismo - a guy who fights wars with his mouth.
