#278710 RE: Razorbucks #278679

You speak as if all people who are pro choice are the same. This is nonsense, just as it is nonsense to pretend that all people who call themselves "pro-life" are the same. The majority of people who are pro choice support some restrictions on abortion, as does the law. And, I suspect, many of those who might identify themselves as "pro-life" would support abortion in some circumstances. For that matter, some religions support abortions in some circumstances (not all of them are as absolutist as the Vatican). For example--Judaism allowd abortion to save the mother's life. When it comes down to a choice, as it sometimes does, the mother is deemed "more" entitled than the still forming fetus.

To speak as you do in absolutist rhetoric is not helpful to resolving the issue in a sensible. You just help to polarize opinion by demonizing others, and by lumping people together who don't belong together. Your generalizations about planned parenthood are, frankly, absurd, as are your generalizations about "all liberals." By calling all abortions "murder," and seeking to eliminate them all, pro-life people almost beg for the other side to take an equally extreme position on the other side.
