sabre, you said "They're not gonna have a great supply to sell into future runs!" and this is perhaps true. but the fact remains they are trying to squeeze every share they can out of the weaker hands -- AND still coming up pretty empty. your annoyance about the (lack of) volume confirms what i'm saying. the very nature of a walkdown is that the volume will be low. if the volume were higher i would think it was merely the market at work now, and not manipulation.
if they can push it low enough we'll see some capitulation, and when they finally scrape together whatever inventory they can find, these MMs will let up, the bulls will run again, and UP it will go... much higher. THEN you'll see that volume return: when the market is allowed to take the stock where they want it to go, not where the MMs are tugging it.
