hap, The USA finds itself at this juncture because of past policies. You believe that our current handling of these affairs will "fix" the problems. It is my opinion that what we are doing will make worse the problems we created with our past failed policies. If the USA had taken the lead in alternative energies productions when we were made aware of the seriousness of the problem we could now be pumping $5 a barrel oil from the ME. The vast wealth we have spent on death in the last 55 years could have gone to far better use. You accuse the Islamic world of being purveyors of nothing but hate and death. Look in the mirror. The USA has been the Empire of Death. Now we reap what we have sown. Maybe this is what you want because your Bible tells you so?
