Yes, the VASO PR was not a repeat of a previous PR by the company, but it referenced a magazine article that was nearly two months old (the December issue would come out in November, would it not?). You have to ask, why did the company release the news at this time? I really don't know, but I sure would like to.
As for the article/study opening up a new area of treatment... sure it does, but how big, and will it make cardiologists jump into EECP? I would guess not. The two big areas would be treatment for CHF and for diabetes. Either of these will be a big, big deal, but I don't see how either can happen in less than a year.
In the meantime, I expect VASO to repeat its past pattern of sinking back down (unless there is some real news coming out of the earnings/CC this week).
